Growing up as a downhill mountain bike racer and then becoming heavily involved in both 2-stroke karting & tarmac rallying in his teenage years, successfully campaigning a custom Peugeot Maxi fwd kit car, it is fair to say James has a love of speed! First visiting an Ultra 4 event back in 2014, James was instantly hooked. His media company Full Throttle Productions covers a number of European offload events and having witnessed the best of Ultra 4 up close, it was only a matter of time before he decided to get back behind the wheel of his own truck. 2016 saw the purchase of a pre-owned Offroad Armoury Eurofighter, which has been evolved and upgraded over the past 2 seasons to keep her competitive in this ever evolving motorsport discipline. The best result for #151 was 3rd in Unlimited class at Kirton Rampage 2016. When not racing, James is a part of the Ultra 4 display team, who promote the sport that they love to compete in. Last year's highlight was 3 days at Goodwood Festival of Speed. This year sees a new event - Speed Machine at Silverstone, supporting the FIA World Rallycross Championships. He also co-owns Terrafirma Factory Racing, who supply a range of off-road race products - mainly suspension packages to suit the many offload disciplines - Ultra 4, Baia, Trophy Raid, Comp Safari, Winch Challenge to name but a few.
