Important information regarding the integration of Ultra4 competitors and Ultra4 classes into Rallye Breslau 2023:

Ultra4 competitors and Ultra4 vehicles are welcome to enter and compete in Rallye Breslau.

If a minimum of 7 vehicles of the same Ultra4 class enter the event and successfully pass administrative check and technical scrutineering, the organizer will form a separate class with separate classification and separate trophies.

If the minimal number of Ultra4 vehicles (7) to form a separate class is not present, the Ultra4 classes will be equated to the Rallye Breslau classes in the following way:

Ultra4 class 4400, 4500 and 4800 enter as Cross Country, Car Open
Ultra4 class 4600 enter as Cross Country, Car Limited
Ultra4 class 4900 enter as Cross Country, SSV / UTV

As Ultra4 vehicles have no registration for taking part in the public traffic, the U4 competitors will be escorted by the organizer on the rally road sections that are driven on public roads.

If a separate Ultra4 class with a separate classification is formed, the organizer will provide the competitors from this class with navigation devices with the rally route. The road book can still be used as means of navigation.

Refueling of Ultra4 vehicles will be done only in the bivouacs or at the refueling zones provided by the organizer.

Reduced fuel autonomy requirements with maximal distance between refuelings of 150 km.

The transfer from Bivouac 1 Zagan to Bivouac 2 Drawsko will be done on Tuesday, 27.06 after Leg 2. The rally vehicles may be loaded and transported by the service.

Competitors have the possibility to participate in the event without assistance personnel, if they service and transport the rally vehicles by themselves.

Road sections for the whole rally are brought to the minimum.

ULTRA4 AND ULTRA4 EUROPE ROUND 2 OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP – RALLY BRESLAU – 25-30 JUN 23

INTRODUCTION

ULTRA4 and RBI Sport have joined forces to bring the ULTRA4 experience and combine it with the Rally Breslau experience!!! Considered to be the “European DAKAR Rally”, this event, now in its 29^th year has been very highly supported by Teams all over Europe and has a history for being a tough, endurance event where a large number of competitors race on bikes, ATV SSV, cars and trucks over several days in EXTREME, CROSS COUNTRY or DISCOVERY catagories.

Rally Breslau 2023 will be the second Round in the Ultra4 Europe European Championship and will take place over the period 25-30 Jun 23.

Teams competing in Rally Breslau as part of the ULTRA4 Europe, European Championship will be entering the event in the Cross Country Category and specifically either in the Open Class for 4400, 4800 and 4500 class vehicles, in Limited Class for 4600 class vehicles or for 4900 class vehicles the SSV Class.

From here, create an account which then allows Teams to enter the event, using the Rally Breslau entry process. This process lists the ULTRA4 EUROPE classes in the relevant Cross Country category. By creating an account, you will create a unique log in and access to your Team Dashboard where all entry requirements etc can be accessed.

The Technical Regulations for Rally Breslau differ from ULTRA4 EUROPE Technical Regulations however safety regulations are a direct read across so all of our safety equipment requirements are common.

The main difference for the ULTRA4 EUROPE teams competing in Rally Breslau is that in the main, our vehicles are not road legal – this will not be a problem to Teams as the Rally Breslau Organisation have made arrangements for specific access to roads and routes using Police Escort and careful use of course terrain to allow non road legal vehicles to compete.

EVENT SCHEDULE

The Rally Breslau is a long event, multiple days, racing on open roads, tracks and off road terrain, following road books which describes the route to follow, using a timing system that places each car on the road to the accuracy of 1 minute. The key to this event is Planning, both logistics and event planning, Team work both as a crew in the vehicle and within your support crews and Vehicle reliability to ensure that not only is your vehicle able to race competitively on the special stages but also drive the liaison road sections to get you to the event finish line.
