Following on from the success of the BFGoodrich King Of Britain in July/August and with the unfortunate cancellation of Poland due to the dreaded Covid-19 we have discussed and decided to put another race on here in the UK!

The BFGoodrich Essential 2020 will be running an EPIC course around the awesome and gnarley terrain at KORC!

Qualifying: Friday 2nd October

Race Days: Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October

We plan on bringing everyone together once again for a celebration race weekend 2-4th October 2020!
All Ultra4 classes and Winch Rallye Raid are welcome to join.

We are going to build an Off Road course like normal for the Ultra4 race classes and Winch Rallye Raid. WRR get the added bonus of special winch sections they have to do during the race but choose when to do them similar to KOB.

We are accepting NORA92 and MSUK safety regulations. If your current championship is under MSUK we will accept the safety for build specs on trucks etc. All you will have to buy (if you do not have one) is a NORA92 weekend license.

Classes – Whilst you may be sharing a course with other classes you are racing the teams within your class.
Ultra4 Championship - 4400, 4800, 4500, 4600 & 4900 classes.
Winch challenge class

Racing: You can arrive from Thursday morning and set up your assigned pit.
Friday: Qualifying for all classes
Saturday: Racing day one
Sunday: Racing day two

Registration: Places are limited but we have the reserve list still open so this will be a first come first served basis.
A £100 non refundable deposit is required (refunded if race is cancelled due to COVID-19)!

Prices: We are knocking £50 off of most classes with the lowest limit being £300 so the prices are as follows!

4400/Ultra4 - £450

4800/Legends - £400

4500/Modified - £350

4600/Stock - £300

4900/UTV - £300

Winch - £300

Application form goes live 19:00 GMT on Wednesday 26th August here and on our social media platforms.

Races will be livestreamed as much as possible, toilets can be ordered nearer the time for your individual pit.

Racer

Whilst we are in constant consultation with authorities we cannot 100% guarantee that the race will go ahead. The government are opening more and more activities and allowing greater movement. Our current plan for the race has been audited and approved, and will require a different way of thinking and planning for all race teams attending.

In light of the current 14 day quarantine period, we cannot expect to see any of our racers coming to the race from the rest of Europe. Thus we have made the decision not to start the 2021 season at the BF Goodrich King of Britain. We will aim for it starting in Poland in September as this will allow everyone a fair chance of getting to the race and being part of the championship.

Be aware that you should only bring essential crew for your team. We are not in a holiday situation and movement will be limited.

Please make sure you have completed your drivers profile on here and registered either through the website or put a deposit down and registered through the jotform.

Winch Challenge

Please fill out the jotform further up the page (copy and paste into your browser), pay the £100 deposit to the bank stated in the form, and drop us an email (tilly@ultra4europe.com) or message on our Ultra4 Europe facebook page! We will the crosscheck and let everyone know in stages as we hopefully get more entry numbers made available!!

Spectator

Event Date:

Saturday, October 3, 2020 to Sunday, October 4, 2020

One major thing, there will be NO spectators at this event. It is and has to be classified as a closed event. The only way you can view the racing is from the live feed on our facebook page (we will try to do as much as possible from different locations), to be in race truck, or sign up to help marshal the race, please email tilly@ultra4europe.com with details if you can help with marshalling! We are opening this up to all of the KOB marshalls first as they did an amazing job and will then put a notice out at the beginning of September for anyone else if we need numbers. Many thanks for all your help!
